Giuliani pledges to supply ‘evidence’ of Obama administration interference in Ukraine

Presidential lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Thursday promised to supply information proving that Former Vice President Joe Biden and the Obama administration colluded with the Ukrainian government to meddle in the 2016 election on behalf of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The former New York City mayor said his “evidence” documents that the previous administration “contributed to the increased level of corruption in Ukraine in 2014 and 2016.”

Giuliani’s comments come as he visits with Ukrainian lawmakers and officials in that country who say that Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was enriched with money obtained from Ukrainian taxpayers.

Giuliani also said that the House Democrat’s impeachment inquiry “is a FARCE” in part because President Trump’s July 25 conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about uncovering corruption in the country “was based on compelling evidence of criminal conduct by then VP Biden, in 2016, that has not been resolved and until it is will be a major obstacle to the US assisting Ukraine with its anti-corruption reforms.”

“The American people will learn that Biden & other Obama administration officials, contributed to the increased level of corruption in Ukraine between 2014 to 2016. This evidence will all be released very soon,” Giuliani said Thursday.

On Friday, the presidential counsel issued more statements on Twitter, adding that “the Accounts Chamber in Ukraine found an alleged misuse of $5.3B in U.S. funds during the Obama administration while Biden was ‘Point Man.’ Obama embassy urged Ukrainian police NOT to investigate!

“Stay tuned to find out why.”

He added:  “Much of the $5.3B in US Aid Ukraine reported as misused was given to the embassy’s favored NGO’s. At the time Yovanovitch, witness for the Witchunt, was the Amb. That embassy directed the police not to investigate,” a reference to former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor, also accused President Obama of forgetting about Article 2, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution.

While in Ukraine, Giuliani met with Andriy Telizhenko, a Ukranian political consultant who used to advise the deputy prime minister, Ukranian lawmaker Andriy Derkach, and other current and former Ukranian officials.

That included former prosecutor general Viktor Shokin, who was ousted after Biden pressured Ukrainian leadership in 2016 to fire him as Shokin was investigating corruption linked to Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company that was paying Hunter Biden about $53,000 a month to be a board member.

Telizhenko told  recently: “There’s a big story happening here in America NOT being told by the mass media on what really happened behind the scenes starting from the prosecutor’s office in Ukraine with an investigation to Burisma case and Hunter Biden.”

On the campaign trail, Joe Biden has denied that he or his son did anything improper regarding Ukraine.
