Trump Responds Perfectly to New Nickname Biden Has Given Him

Former President Donald Trump appeared to have the perfect comeback response to a new nickname he was given by President Joe Biden during a speech on Wednesday.

Speaking to the IBEW in Chicago, Biden kept referring to Trump’s supporters as “MAGA people” and the “MAGA movement,” until he uttered this line:

“Under my predecessor, the great MAGA king, the deficit increased every single year he was president.”

While the deficit is a serious problem, it’s not even close to being in the top 10 things Americans are concerned about right now. Rather, most are worried about ever-rising inflation, gas and food prices, diesel costs, housing and energy spikes, and other pocketbook issues. More Americans are worried about the mess at the U.S. border than ‘the deficit,’ according to several recent surveys.

Trump responded to Biden’s dig by embracing and also by dropping a hint that he is definitely planning a 2024 run:

“The Return Of the Great MAGA King,” accompanied the picture.

Also Wednesday, Biden took multiple shots at Trump’s supporters during a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Chicago, according to a  of his comments.

He noted that “the last guy changed American politics.  He changed it in a way that made it more petty.”

Biden sought to claim that only a few Republicans truly back Trump.

“There’s still a lot of good Republicans in the Senate.  But it’s amazing to me how they’re cowered by Trump,” he said, later adding there were some “really decent Republicans in the House and the Senate, but they’re so overwhelmed and intimidated.”

Biden said Democrats need to “take on the — MAGA Republicans — ‘Make America Great Again’ Republicans.”

The fact that Biden and Democrats continue to focus on Trump, whose been out of office for 15 months, says a lot about what they believe in terms of whether he’ll run in 2024.
