A group of pro-abortion demonstrators dressed in red “Handmaiden’s Tale” outfits showed up at a Catholic mass in Los Angeles on Mother’s Day attempting to disrupt the service.
But they got handled instead.
Video posted online shows some parishioners as well as church security officials physically and promptly ushering the protesters out of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department told The Daily Wire on Monday afternoon that though police officers responded to disturbances at the cathedral on Sunday, they are not seeking the pro-abortion protesters over violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act since church officials did not attempt to pursue any charges.
The FACE Act prohibits “violent, threatening, damaging and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right” to obtain abortions.
In addition, the law bans the use of force, physical obstruction, injury, or intimidation to “injure, intimidate or interfere with any person lawfully exercising or seeking to exercise the First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship.”
In a statement, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles said “the incident was handled accordingly by Cathedral Security ensuring limited disruption of Mass,” noting that “demonstrations had been anticipated across the country.”
“We continue to join our prayers as an Archdiocese in solidarity with the US Catholic Bishops to pray for change in our laws to help all women in need in our communities,” the statement continued.

In one segment of video, a masked woman who is either a parishioner or an usher can be seen pushing the demonstrators out of the aisles.
“I have a right to my body,” one of them yelled as a small group of people half-pushed, half-escorted her out of the church. “My choice!”
“Get out of here,” another man hollers.
“Get your hands off me!” a protester repeatedly yelled.
