Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) blasted Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his spouse Chasten during a fiery speech at former President Donald Trump’s rally in her state Saturday evening.
During her remarks, Greene implored Buttigieg to “stay out of our girls’ bathrooms” amid other statements and demands, reports noted.
“You know what? Pete Buttigieg can take his electric vehicles and his bicycles, and he and his husband can stay out of our girls’ bathrooms,” she said to the cheering crowd.
In addition, she addressed the ongoing controversy involving University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas, a biological male who identifies as a female and has been dominating all-women competitions this year.
“And old Lia Thomas, Lia’s going to have to remember his name is William, and he needs to go back to men’s swimming because we’re going to kick the biological men out of the women’s sports,” she said as the crowd cheered again.

Earlier this month, Buttigieg advised Americans to buy electric vehicles, which are currently prohibitively expensive for most Americans, in response to rising gas prices.
“Clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for the American people as well,” he said during a speech.
“Last month, we announced a $5 billion investment to build out a nationwide electric vehicle charging network so that people from rural to suburban to urban communities can all benefit from the gas savings of driving an EV,” he added.
“Today is about how we can deliver cleaner air, a better climate, affordable transportation, and good jobs all at once,” he said.
Last August, Greene drew fire for ripping into President Joe Biden over Afghanistan using an expletive.
In a video posted to social media platform GETTR over the catastrophic and hectic withdrawal in Afghanistan that went viral, she referred to him as a “piece of s**t.”
“Joe Biden, you’re not a president, you’re a piece of s**t,” Green says in the video, which was also uploaded to other social media.
The Georgia Republican added: “Thousands of Americans are stuck over there in Afghanistan, and you’re letting the Taliban kick your a**, while you’re lecturing governors about masks and vaccines. Do your job, bring these Americans home.”
