WATCH: Bongino Issues Warning To Conservatives About One Possible Future

Conservative commentator and former U.S. Secret Service agent Dan Bongino issued a warning to conservatives about what may happen to them in the future, noting that mainstream credit card companies could cut them off.

In an interview with Fox News, Bongino said that VISA and MasterCard were denying services to millions of Russians to put additional financial pressure on President Vladimir Putin amid his ongoing conflict with Ukraine.

Bongino suggested the same thing could happen to conservatives if liberals caused enough of an uproar.

“[T]he saddest part of this whole thing — I’m out to dinner with my wife with my wife before I get the air, and we’re having a conversation and she asked me about Mastercard, ‘What do you think Mastercard cutting off Putin and Russia and Paypal and other payment services?’” said Bongino.

“And I said, you know what, ordinarily I would say, ‘Wow, that’s really terrific, good, it will put pressure on them.’ But, you know what seriously concerns me? That the left will see this as a Bat-signal to go and turn this on their political enemies here at home,” he noted.

“And by the way, that’s not a conspiracy theory. They have already done this kind of stuff. Stripe kicking Donald Trump off. That’s got to concern you too focusing on this stuff over at Heritage,” he said, in reference to the payment processing platform booting Trump’s campaign off after the Jan. 6 riot.

Host Kara Frederick agreed.

“Precisely. I think this is a test run. Russia is a test run for what they can do to their domestic enemies here in the United States,” she noted.

“We saw from the Department of Homeland Security on February 7th they issued a threat advisory that said if Americans purvey disinformation, misinformation, misinformation over social media that could potentially be considered terrorist activities,” she continued.

“What have our neighbors to the north do? What has Trudeau done when it comes to pushing GoFundMe to not give the money to the truckers, the remaining $9 million? They debunked, they de-platformed the Freedom Convoy,” she noted.

“I — I believe that this was fully a test run for what they can do to us here at home,” Frederick added.
