Top House Intel Republican Rips Durham Probe Findings Regarding Clinton Campaign

The top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee has lashed out at 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton following a bombshell filing by special counsel John Durham late last week.

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ohio) said Durham’s findings appear to indicate that the Clinton campaign spied on GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign and then his White House after he won the 2016 election, calling such alleged activity “illegal and dangerous.”

“Every American should be troubled by the revelation that false information was intentionally placed into our government’s intelligence community in order to strengthen a narrative for initiating criminal investigations,” Turner said in an exclusive to Fox News Digital on Thursday.

“The Durham court filings allege actions by people associated with the Hillary Clinton campaign that appear to be illegal and dangerous.”

Attorneys for the 2016 presidential campaign of Clinton paid a technology company to “infiltrate” servers that were in Trump Tower, and after the election in the White House, in order to create an “inference” and “narrative” to link  Trump to Russia, Durham’s filing said.

According to :

Durham filed a motion on Feb. 11 focused on potential conflicts of interest related to the representation of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman, who has been charged with making a false statement to a federal agent. Sussman has pleaded not guilty.

The indictment against Sussman says he told then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in September 2016, less than two months before the 2016 presidential election, that he was not doing work “for any client” when he requested and held a meeting in which he presented “purported data and ‘white papers’ that allegedly demonstrated a covert communications channel” between the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin.

Clinton has denied the allegations.

“Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones. So it’s a day that ends in Y,” she said.

“The more his misdeeds are exposed, the more they lie,” she tweeted.

Earlier, former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani claimed in an interview with Newsmax TV that he has proof” Clinton spied on the Trump campaign “in my bedroom” and added that the former president has known about the spying for years.

“I can’t tell you exactly how, but I know how (Trump) knew about it back then,” he said.

“There’s a lot more to come out,” he continued. “They may think it’s gobbledygook, but it’s gobbledygook supported by about 1,000 pieces of evidence, none of which have been revealed yet.

“I happen to have it in my bedroom, or my den, actually. I’ve had it there for years,” he added.

Trump  that Durham has more evidence to produce.
