Marjorie Taylor Greene, Dems Shout At Each Other On Capitol Steps, As Fiery Georgia Republican Crashes ‘Build Back Better for Women’ Event

(USA Features) Firebrand GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia got into a shouting match with some Democrats who were attending an event on the Capitol stops Friday.

The event, dubbed “Build Back Better for Women,” a play on President Joe Biden’s campaign and administration slogan, featured several Democratic female lawmakers, but Greene took offense to the gathering and their message.

“The Democrats had also just passed a symbolic pro-choice bill that would sweep away state restrictions on abortion, in reaction to a wave of pro-life measures in Texas and other red states making their way to the Supreme Court. The Senate though is not expected to take up the measure to pass the bill into law,” the Washington Times reported.

Nevertheless, the fact that the House passed the measure was offensive enough to Greene, who is staunchly pro-life.

“You should all be ashamed,” Greene shouted at the Democrats, according to a video posted by a reporter for Business Insider on Twitter.

“Killing a baby up until birth is a lack of civility. It’s called murder,” she shouted. “Hey, how about the border down there? Lack of civility. Lack of laws.”

Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., yelled back, “You ought to practice the basic thing you’re taught in church: Respect your neighbor.”

That really appeared to bother Greene.

“Taught in church? Are you kidding me? Try being a Christian and supporting life,” she hollered back.

“You try being a Christian,” Dingell yelled back before stumbling on the steps of the Capitol as she moved toward Greene.

“You’re going to fall down, lady. Control yourself,” said the Georgia Republican before storming off.
