(USA Features) Former Trump acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell said in an interview Wednesday he believes that President Joe Biden’s chief domestic policy adviser Susan Rice is actually running the administration behind the scenes.
“Susan Rice has been appointed as domestic policy adviser,” Grenell told CPAC’s Matt Schlapp and his wife Mercedes Schlapp, who served as White House director of strategic communications for the Trump administration. “That’s a joke. She doesn’t know anything about domestic policy.”

. on the far-Left's control of the Biden admin:
"Biden is too weak to stop the progressive Left from taking over…Kamala does not understand what's going on…We have a shadow president in Susan Rice and no one is paying attention."

“So, she’s a foreign policy expert that’s been placed in the domestic policy role. And that is just a clear signal that all of our international issues, our foreign policies, are going to be treated like domestic policy,” he continued.
“This is a problem for the Democratic Party. The foreign policy mess that they are creating is a mess because they are placating the far-left domestically. It’s part of that cancel culture.
“They’re beating up on Israel because it pleases the far-left. They are trying to reach out to Iran and pretend like the Iranian regime should be respected because it pleases the far progressive left. This is the upsidedown world of the Biden administration. President (Joe) Biden is too weak to stop the progressive left from taking over the domestic and foreign policy. (Vice President) Kamala (Harris) does not understand what’s going on, Grenell continued.
“And Susan Rice is really happy that Biden is so weak. We have a shadow president in Susan Rice and no one is paying attention.”
Grenell has made similar remarks before.
“She is going to be somebody who is incredibly influential. Remember that she was national security advisor so she knows that entire apparatus,” the former intelligence chief and diplomat told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo in January.
“We were told that she wanted to be secretary of state in the Obama Administration. They were making moves towards that but she didn’t have the votes so they backed off on that,” he added.
“So I think the reality is she’s going to be running foreign policy, domestic policy. She’s probably extremely happy that Kamala Harris is going to be preoccupied with the Senate, trying to manage 50-50, being the 101st senator there, and won’t have a lot of time to get into policy issues.”
Rice served as UN ambassador and national security adviser under former President Barack Obama, while Biden served as vice president. She is one of several former Obama officials serving in Biden’s administration.
Rice was also accused of lying about the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012 after going on several Sunday news programs and claiming the attack was in response to an anti-Muslim video.
In addition, “was also implicated in the unmasking of Americans in intelligence reports during the presidential transition. Some of those Americans turned out to be Donald Trump associates. Rice has denied any wrongdoing,” Newsmax reported.
