Pastor, Head of Religious Group Believes Trump Will Be President Again

(USA Features) The head of the Religious Liberties Coalition said Tuesday he believes that former President Donald Trump will once again be elected to the White House and get to serve a second term.

Pastor Todd Coconato, a staunch ally of the former president who often says the election was “stolen” from him, said he believes Trump will run and win again because God is in control of America’s leadership, Newsweek reported.

“People say, ‘Well, you still think President Trump might become president again?'” Coconato said during a live stream on YouTube last week. “I do, because I prayed about it, and I’ll tell you what God said to me was kind of shocking.”

He acknowledged that Joe Biden is president, but believes Trump will sit in the Oval Office again as leader of the free world.

Since God told him Trump has the “mantle of leadership,” Coconato said that Biden being in the White House is “confusing to saints.” He noted further that people are questioning if he’s “really the president,” but since he’s “clearly” the president, he sought out God to ask if people are to “doubt” that.

“And God said, ‘It’s about the mantle, the mantle of anointing, which is on President Trump, not Biden,” Coconato said.

In an email to Newsweek, Coconato said Trump could become president again, but it “really depends if he is feeling up” to the monumental task.

Trump has not said definitively if he will run again in 2024 but he told Fox News host Sean Hannity Monday night he is “very seriously” considering what would be a third campaign for a second term.

“I say this. I am looking at it very seriously. Beyond seriously,” he said. “From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet. It’s a little too soon.”
