A motorist caught a pair of white moose strolling along a Canadian highway in a sight not seen very often.

Jackie Burns Loyer told reporters that she was driving on Highway 101 between Timmins and Chapleau when she  pale animals.

The were dubbed “spirit moose” after a sighting in 2018.

While white moose sightings are rear, these two have been seen several times in recent months.

Experts note that the moose are not albino, but rather leucistic — a similar condition in which an animal has only a partial loss of pigment.
