Music star Kid Rock blared out a message to his critics ahead of Independence Day that smacked of patriotism.
Essentially, the entertainer said that any American who is critical of the country today likely would not have fought for its independence from Great Britain in 1776 and beyond.
“If you’re anti-gun, you don’t get to celebrate the 4th of July. You would have never fought back,” he said.
Some of those same critics then clapped back at Rock, most of which used language that we don’t think is appropriate to republish.
One claimed the musician “wouldn’t be caught dead associating with your fanbase. You ain’t worked hard in your life.”
Recently, Kid Rock is not worried about the left trying to cancel him, telling Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he is “uncancelable”
Carlson asked Kid Rock, “Why haven’t you been canceled? People aren’t allowed to say what they think, you are.”
The singer then revealed his secret to rise above the hysterical left: “I am uncancelable.”
Carlson asked, “Why’s that?”
“Because I don’t give a f*ck and I’m not in bed with any big corporate things at the end of the day, there’s nobody I’m beholden to, no record companies, no nothing,” he said.
“You can’t cancel me, I love it when they try.”
The legendary Kid Rock sits down with Tucker for a rare one-on-one interview. And nothing is off the table. You’ll see part of the fascinating discussion Monday on Tucker Carlson Tonight at 8pm ET on Fox News.
