Firearm-toting Rep. Lauren Boebert had a few choice words for Lori Lightfoot following something that sounded a lot like a threat to the Colorado Republican earlier this week.
Specifically, Boebert took issue with Lightfoot’s “call to arms” comment regarding the leaked draft Supreme Court ruling that seeks to overturn Roe v. Wade.
“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms,” Lightfoot said in a tweet.
“We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!” she added.
To Boebert, that was a direct threat to the sovereignty of the Judicial Branch to issue rulings free from threats of violence — though the leaked ruling was just a draft and nothing is official yet.
And it also smacked of hypocrisy, given the of many who were involved in the incident at the Capitol last year.
We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!
— Lori Lightfoot
Boebert responded to her by simply calling her an “Insurrectionist.”
Insurrectionist.

Lightfoot then responded with, “Excuse me. Insurrection is your thing. Not ours.”
No one arrested in connection with the Capitol incident has been charged with “insurrection” or “sedition.”
But Lightfoot’s reply led to one from Boebert.
“6 killed and 18 wounded in your city this past weekend. Nearly 200 murders this year so far. Go fix your city, hack,” she said.

Other conservatives took verbal aim at Lightfoot as well.
The Mayor of the most violent city in America is here to worry about woke nonsense instead of people literally dying in the streets there…

“A call to arms.”
You hate the Second Amendment and firearms. How you gonna fight?

This is absolute bullsh*t and you know it. The court made that very clear in its “leaked” opinion. You should be arrested for calling for the murder of Americans. LIAR.

Alright time to remove Lori Lightfoot. Those are the rules.
