Report Claims Joe Biden Did Not Account For Millions After He Left Vice Presidency

President Joe Biden may have a lot more wealth than previously known because he did not account for it in government transparency statements, according to a Tuesday report.

The UK’s Daily Mail reported that Biden declared some $16.5 million in income between 2017 when he left the vice presidency, and 2019, according to tax returns released by his presidential campaign.

But that is $7 million more than he listed on the transparency reports and what’s more, the report said, at least $5 million of that extra income is unaccounted for.

Most of the income was for speaking and writing engagements, the site reported, yet filings with the Office of Government Ethics covering the same period showed just $9.6 million in income for the couple.

The Daily Mail, which reported on the findings exclusively, noted further:

Joe Biden agreed to pay son Hunter’s legal fees for his deal with a Chinese government-controlled company, emails reveal.

The revelation ties the president even closer to Hunter’s overseas business dealings – and makes his previous claims that he never discussed them with his son, even less plausible.

Joe was able to pay the bills after earning millions of dollars through his and his wife’s companies after he left office as vice president.

The ‘missing millions’ – combined with emails on Hunter’s abandoned laptop suggesting Joe would have a 10% share in Hunter’s blockbuster deal with the Chinese – raise a troubling question: did Joe Biden receive money from the foreign venture?

The Daily Wire adds:

Emails from a laptop abandoned by Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, appear to reference shady international business deals, including one with the government-controlled Bank of China. Still, no conclusive evidence has emerged that Joe Biden made money from his son’s activities. But the unexplained income continues to raise questions.

“Evidence of the president’s financial and business connections to Hunter continues to grow,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) told the outlet. “It’s imperative for the first family to show the American people the transparency that they deserve.”

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who has been investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings, said the news of the missing millions of dollars is “another disturbing piece of information that raises questions that deserve answers.”
