Billionaire Space X, Starlink, and Tesla founder Elon Musk trolled fellow billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates in a tweet comparing him to a pregnant man emoji.
In addition, Musk confirmed that a leaked conversation between the two men — where he dismissed Gates’ push to discuss climate change philanthropy — was genuine.
“So apparently Bill Gates hit up to discuss ‘philanthropy on climate change’ but Elon asked if he still had a half billion dollar short position on $TSLA. Bill said he hasn’t closed it out, so Elon told him to get lost. No idea if this is true lol,” a person noted on Twitter and in a subsequent tweet asked Musk if it was true.
“Yeah, but I didn’t leak it to NYT. They must have got it through friends of friends. I heard from multiple people at TED that Gates still had half billion short against Tesla, which is why I asked him, so it’s not exactly top secret,” he said.

At that, Musk then compared a photo of Gates to a pregnant man emoji, with the caption “in case u need to lose a boner fast.”L
He then posted another tweet containing a photo of dark, robed figures with the caption: “Shadow ban council reviewing tweet.”

Last week, Musk noted online that he had secured enough funding to purchase Twitter.
According to an updated filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, Musk is continuing to explore a tender offer to acquire the company’s outstanding stock shares at $54.20 per share in cash. He claimed to have secured $46.5 billion in financing for the massive deal.
But on Saturday, Musk posted another cryptic tweet that suggested he may be abandoning his bid for the social media platform.
“Moving on,” he wrote.
