Eric Greitens, a former Missouri GOP governor who was forced to resign in 2018 amid an admission he had an affair, issued a warning to “cowards” Mitch McConnell and GOP adviser Karl Rove that America First Republicans like him are “coming” for them politically.
Greiten’s remarks came after new allegations by his ex-wife of abuse, to which the Senate minority leader, Rove, and others including Missouri’s current junior senator, Josh Hawley (R), have used to try and push the former governor out of the race to replace retiring Sen. Roy Blount (R).
“I wanna tell you directly, Karl Rove and Mitch McConnell. Hear me now. You are disgusting cowards and we are coming for you,” Greitens said in a video.
“We are no longer going to allow you – not just to attack me and attack my kids, but to destroy this country, and that’s what you’re doing. You’re making life hard for millions of families around this country by cooperating with the left, by stabbing President Trump in the back, by stabbing the people of America in the back, and we’re not gonna stand for it anymore,” he said.
“Know this. the freedom wing of the Republican Party, true patriots, true conservatives, we are coming for you. And we’re not just taking back our party, we’re taking back our country. We see your game, we see your lies, but we also know this: that at the end of the day, truth prevails,” Greitens noted further.
Greitens, a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, claims that Rove knew his ex-wife was going to file abuse charges, Breitbart News reported.

Greitens pointed out that this all happened during the same week that William Tisaby, a former FBI agent who was reportedly hired by a Soros-funded prosecutor to investigate him in 2018, pled guilty after facing a number of felony charges, including perjury and evidence tampering.
Tisaby will now get off with a misdemeanor and probation by pleading guilty.
“So I ask you is it any coincidence that in this very week, in this very week, RINOs come out with a brand new set of wild accusations against me, which they claim are from four years ago?” Greitens said. “It’s obviously nonsense.”
“Number one. All of these accusations are written, notarized, and distributed to the press in Washington, DC, while I was with my boys,” he charged.
“Number two, we now know that Karl Rove was directly involved in this, Karl Rove the mastermind of RINO dirty tricks,” said Greitens. “And number three, we now know that they took all of these accusations and they handed them directly to people who work for Mitch McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund.”
“We’re coming for you, and we’re not just taking back our party, we’re taking back our country. We see your game, we know your lies, but we also know this: At the end of the day, truth prevails, and, at the end of the day, courage is rooted in love. We have it, and we are going to beat your game of fear and nonsense,” he added.
