GOP Senator Says After Party Retakes Congress In 2022, Joe Biden Should Be Impeached And Some Democrats Removed From Committee Assignments

(USA Features) A freshman Republican senator said last week during a radio interview that should the GOP retake control of Congress after next year’s midterm elections, members should focus on two things: Impeaching President Biden and removing some Democrats from their committee assignments.

In an interview with FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile, Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville vented frustration with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her push to pass massive spending bills that include a $1.5 trillion infrastructure package as well as a $3.5 trillion social spending measure, both of which are backed by Biden.

He predicted that Republicans would win back the House but would be stuck with Biden, whom he claimed was better than Vice President Kamala Harris, according to comments reported by Breitbart News.

“Nancy Pelosi is trying to rush it, get it signed, sealed, delivered — get it all pumped up. Where we do take the House next year — we’ll get the House for sure. We’ve got to fight like heck to get the Senate because it is a little bit harder,” Tuberville offered.

“We’re stuck with Biden for a few years, but he’s much better than that girl who is supposed to be the border czar,” Tuberville went on, in reference to Harris. “You never see her up here. You never hear from her … whoever she is.”

But impeaching Biden should be a consideration anyway, Tuberville continued.

“Nancy Pelosi is trying to rush it, get it signed, sealed, delivered — get it all pumped up. Where we do take the House next year — we’ll get the House for sure. We’ve got to fight like heck to get the Senate because it is a little bit harder,” Tuberville offered.

“We’re stuck with Biden for a few years, but he’s much better than that girl who is supposed to be the border czar,” Tuberville went on, referring to Harris. “You never see her up here. You never hear from her … whoever she is.”

He then commented about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who was kicked off her committee assignments by Pelosi over past comments she made online.

“This lady has gone overboard a little bit — Marjorie Taylor Greene. She’s an American, though. She’s trying to get people to listen to her,” Tuberville said.

“But these progressives, these Marxists, Maxine Waters — some of these people have got people hurt. They need to be gone. And they need to be walking the halls, looking for somebody to talk to them,” he added.

Other Republicans have called for Biden to be impeached as well.

In late August after a suicide bomber killed 11 Marines, two U.S. Army troops, and a Navy corpsman, Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) cosponsored articles of impeachment with Greene against Biden due to an alleged “foreign policy failure” in Afghanistan.

He said in a statement he believes it’s time to remove Biden following his “gross negligence” he says led to the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan and “resulted in a grave humanitarian crisis.”

“I am heartsick at the President’s failure to fulfill his duty that has resulted in American deaths and thousands of Americans and Afghan allies being abandoned at the risk of being tortured, captured, held hostage, or killed at the hands of the Taliban or other terrorist forces,” he noted.

“It is time to take action and remove the sitting President from office due to his gross negligence that undermined our national security, led to the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, and resulted in a grave humanitarian crisis,” Duncan added on Twitter.

Late last month, Texas GOP Rep. Chip Roy also said Biden should be impeached along with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over the ongoing migrant crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“I believe that Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden are refusing to faithfully execute the laws of the United States. We should impeach them,” Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, told Newsmax TV.
