(USA Features) Former Vice President Joe Biden, who has become the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee, said Wednesday he thinks that there have been enough debates this primary season.
My focus is just dealing with this [coronavirus] crisis right now,” Biden. “I haven’t thought about any more debates. I think we have had enough debates. I think we should get on with this.”
The former VP’s comments came after the campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders, his chief remaining rival, said the candidate was looking forward to the next debate in April.
Biden was cruising towards his party’s presidential nomination before the coronavirus outbreak put the breaks on debates, public campaign rallies, and even some state primaries.
