Far-Left Denver councilwoman expresses ‘solidarity’ with spread of coronavirus to Trump supporters

(USA Features) Leftist Denver city councilwoman Candi CdeBaca noted on her government Twitter account Monday she stood in “solidarity” with a person who said if they contracted coronavirus they would spread it to supporters of President Donald Trump.

CdeBaca, who has been an advocate for communism in the past, responded to a tweet that featured a graphic that stated: “For the record, if I do get the coronavirus I’m attending every MAGA rally I can.”

CdeBaca responded by writing, “#solidarity Yaaaas!!” the Daily Wire reported.

The virus, which originated in China, has spread to more than 100 people in the United States, though its spread is much worse in Europe and Asia.

South Korean cases, for example, have surpassed 5,100, while cases in Italy continue to rise.

As for CdeBaba, local 9 News noted that the Twitter account she used was indeed her government account in a separate report documenting false statements she has made about other politicians.

CdeBaca gained notoriety over fringe comments that she made in March 2019 during a candidate forum for City Council District 9.

“I don’t believe our current economic system actually works. Um, capitalism by design is extractive and in order to generate profit in a capitalist system, something has to be exploited, that’s land, labor or resources,” she said, the Daily Wire noted in a separate report.

“And I think that we’re in late phase capitalism and we know it doesn’t work and we have to move into something new. And I believe in community ownership of land, labor, resources, and distribution of those resources,” she aded.

“And so, whatever that morphs into I think is what will serve community the best and I’m excited to usher it in by any means necessary.”
