Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon said on his Friday podcast he believes top Biden administration officials will be indicted on “criminal charges.”
Bannon’s comments pertained to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland and came on the heels of the first prime-time hearings of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked Jan. 6 Committee, which he slammed for spewing lies and misinformation.
“I think we’re going to get criminal charges against Wray and Garland and all of those hacks over there,” Bannon said.
“They’re inundated with whistleblowers from the FBI. Patriots, hard-working patriots are blowing these guys up,” he continued. Thousands of whistleblowers. Thousands. Let me underline that .. on the maleficence and politicization of the America Gestapo, the FBI.
“I don’t care if the FBI doesn’t like it. You’re a Gestapo, you’re an American Gestapo. You’re going to be taken apart brick by brick. Whether we need a federal agency like that, that’s for people to decide. But you are going to be deconstructed. Because the rot that you have, and we should have done it after 9-11, let’s be honest,” he continued.
Last week, the former top Trump adviser made a couple of predictions during his program about the GOP’s chances of winning back control of Congress in the fall.
Not only does he believe they will, but he went on to predict that the new GOP majority will impeach President Joe Biden over policies that have exacerbated mass illegal immigration.
“You have stood down ICE and you’ve stood down Border Patrol, and guess what? That’s the impeachment hearing I want to hear,” Bannon said.
“You’re going to sit there day after day and week after week and we’re going to bring the witnesses,” Bannon continued in remarks that appeared to clearly be aimed at the president.
“We’re going to bring the witnesses of what you did to this country and what you did on the southern border,” he said.
“Preserve your documents because after impeachment, they’re going to put you up on criminal charges. Criminal charges for allowing this country to be invaded by your actions,” Bannon said.
“Acts of commission not acts of omission,” the host added “We’re not going to back down, so write it down. This November is about one thing: it’s impeaching Joe Biden to stop this madness and to stop this illegitimate regime from destroying our nation.”
